About me

I’m originally from Panamá but i’ve been living in The US for 6 years now. It’s been a struggle for me to find information on my ancestors after the fourth generation. My country has not enter the era of digitalization of records. The only way for me to get new information is through my living relatives, indexed records i can find in familysearch.com, visiting my home country and taking to distant relatives with the help of facebook or WhatsApp.

Using DNA to do genealogy research it has been challenging since I’m missing most of the pieces of my own family tree puzzle, but it’s fun to meet new people and relatives in the process.

Since I speak both Spanish and English, you will see articles in both languages.

I hope you find this blog helpful on learning new things about Genealogy And finally may lead you to find new ancestors.

Good luck on your seek
